La morbilidad cuantifica casos de enfermedad, no muertes ni otros eventos demográficos.

La tasa de mortalidad relaciona muertes con la población total durante un periodo.

La CFR mide la gravedad entre los casos diagnosticados, no la población general.

Letalidad = muertes/casos = 50/1000 = 0.05 = 5%.

Morbidad = 1500/100000 = 1.5% ; Mortalidad = 200/100000 = 0.2%.

Incidencia se refiere a nuevos casos; morbilidad cubre casos en periodo total.

Una CFR alta indica que, entre los casos, hay más muertes.
