Explicación

Al restar 8,500 - 3,200 desagrupamos en la decenas (pedimos pestado)

Gracias a la posición de cada dígito indo-arábigo, a juntarlos obtenemos la cantidad sumada.

Restando los valores posicionales de derecha a izquierda 15,000-6,000=9,000 y a quitarle los 400 restantes nos queda 8,600

Primero sumamos los dos primeros términos luego restamos la última cantidad
