Untuk segitiga siku-siku, (b)a^2+(b)^2=c^2.

√(9^2+12^2)=√(81+144)=√225=15 cm.

Teorema Pythagoras hanya untuk segitiga siku-siku.

√(7^2+24^2)=√(49+576)=√625=25 cm.

c^2=2^2+3^2=4+9=13 → c=√13 cm.
