الهمزة القطع تُنطق دومًا وتُكتب في كل مواقع الكلمة على عكس همزة الوصل.

همزة القطع تظهر في قراءة و أمل كونهما يبدآن بهمزة ملفوظة.

أمثلة شائعة تبدأ بهمزة قطع على الألف أو الواو أو الياء وليست مع الطاء.

تُكتب على ألف عندما تكون الحركة تدفع إلى ذلك مثل فتحة أو كسرة أو ضمة حسب النطق.

إسلام بها همزة قطع في البداية، بينما الأ_eq الأخرى لا تحتويها بنفس الوضع.

همزة القطع تُنطق دائماً، وليست مثل همزة الوصل التي تُكتب لكن لا تُنطق عند الوصل.

كلمة قراءة تُكتب همزة القطع في بداية الكلمة وتُلفظ.

في بداية كلمة مثل 'بأمر' تُكتب همزة القطع وتُلفظ.

وصل هي همزة وصل وليست قطع، لذا لا تحتويها من حيث النطق عند البدء بها.

التعريف الصحيح: القطع تُنطق وتُكتب باستمرار؛ الوصل لا تُنطق عند البدء وتُكتب لتسقط عند التلاقي.
