El pentagrama tiene cinco líneas y cuatro espacios para las notas.

El sostenido eleva la altura de la nota marcada.

4/4 es compás cuatros por compás, pulso fuerte en 1.

Un arpège usa notas de un acorde en sucesión ascendente o descendente.

La armadura (sostenidos/bemoles) aplica a las notas a lo largo de la pieza.
