Feedback

From the Grade 7 Percentages module: % means per hundred.

Expressed as a percentage using Part/Whole × 100%.

Half of a quantity is 50% of it.

Convert 25% to 0.25 and multiply by 200.

Not voted = 100% − 75% = 25%; 0.25 × 14,400 = 3,600.

80% of 25 = 0.80 × 25 = 20.

Defined in the percent lessons.

Discount Amount = Marked Price − Sale Price; 20% of 100 is 20.

Sale Price = Marked Price − (Marked Price × Discount Rate); 150 − 0.30×150 = 105.

Percentage × Whole: 0.65 × 80 = 52.
