Con factor 2, cada medida correspondiente se duplica: 3 pasa a 6 y 5 pasa a 10. Como el mismo factor se aplica a ambas, la forma se conserva.

En 8 por 9, la primera medida se duplic贸 y la segunda solo pas贸 de 6 a 9, factor 1,5. Como los factores no coinciden, la figura se deforma.

15 es 3 veces 5. El factor 3 indica que cada longitud correspondiente debe triplicarse para conservar la forma.

Reducir a la mitad significa aplicar factor 1/2 a todas las longitudes: 10 pasa a 5 y 6 pasa a 3.

4 pas贸 a 12, por lo tanto el factor es 3. Aplicamos el mismo factor: 7 x 3 = 21.

Una ampliaci贸n proporcional se justifica mostrando que todas las medidas correspondientes cambian con un mismo factor. Aqu铆 3 x 2 = 6 y 5 x 2 = 10.
