Explicación

La rapidez es la magnitud de la velocidad; la velocidad es una magnitud vectorial que incluye dirección.

Con aceleración constante g, la velocidad se incrementa cada segundo.

En el punto más alto, la velocidad instantánea es cero aunque la aceleración siga siendo g.

Velocidad promedio = distancia/tiempo = 20/5 = 4 m/s.

Desplazamiento es la diferencia entre posición final e inicial, con dirección.

Si inicia desde reposo, v = v0 + g t con v0 = 0, así que v = g t.

Con aceleración constante, la velocidad depende linealmente del tiempo.

La distancia es la longitud total recorrida, sin considerar dirección.

Con solo gravedad y sin resistencia, al regresar al origen la magnitud de v es igual a la inicial.

Altura máxima h = v0^2/(2g) ≈ 144/(19.6) ≈ 7.35 m.
