Feedback

Adding two positive integers yields a larger positive sum.

Both numbers are negative; their magnitudes add and keep a negative sign.

Canceling part of a negative with a positive reduces the negative total.

Adding a smaller magnitude positive to a larger magnitude negative moves toward zero.

Absolute value removes the sign.

The additive inverse is the number that sums to zero with the original number.

Sum of two negative numbers remains negative with magnitude added.

Zero adds no value to the other addend.

A number plus its opposite yields zero.

Sum of two positive integers is positive.
